Phil Taylor wins his 10th World Matchplay title

So, Phil 'the Power' Taylor won his tenth Matchplay title. Before the final he said he was looking forward to winning the tournament ('if I can') and aiming for a 120 average. The way he's been playing you can't really knock him for being confident.

He's just been so good it was hard to doubt that he'd win and an 18-4 victory over Terry Jenkins with a 106 average is pretty convincing stuff. Only losing 20 legs on the way to the title is impressive as well.

Some people say it's getting boring with Taylor winning everything but I always think it's a good thing to have someone so consistently good. It raises the bar for everyone else meaning they have to be at their very best if they're going to have a shot at winning a title. Surely that can only improve the overall standard?
